I have been in the industry for over 15 years.  I specialize in trouble shooting hardware and software, and I am a hands-on person and who enjoys working with people.

03/1999 - Promoted to: Lead LAN Administrator, Lead Email Administrator, Lead Internet Web Server (IIS 4.0) Administrator.

I was assigned to be the project manager to oversee and coordinate the installation of a $350,000 Northern Telecom telephone system. This telephone system is state of the art and most large businesses, motels and Hospitals use this system. It's the same one Hewlett Packard uses but on a smaller scale.

My duties include telephone administration as maintaining new employees new Direct In Dial (DID) telephone number, interoffice extension, voice mail accounts and all facets of being a telephone and voice mail administrator.

Other duties include being the sites Computer Technician. I maintain 200 users on site with fixing hardware/software problems and installing company-approved software. Most computers use Windows98, Outlook98/Exchange and Microsoft Office Suites.

I was also responsible for new hires as in setting up and maintain their LAN accounts using Novell 4.11, Email accounts using Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5, Telephone and Voice Mail accounts using Northern Telecom Option 61c switch.

I worked for IBM Global Services as a Regional Technical Service Manager. My responsibilities included trouble shooting software/ hardware problems on desktop and laptop computers. Problem resolution in a timely manor for over 50 remote sites from north of the Golden Gate Bridge to the Oregon Border.

My daily duties included answering tickets from our SPOC and call the customer on the telephone to help fix their software problems, or drive to their site and fix it. Most sites run Windows For Work Groups v3.11, and some NT 4.0 workstations.

Additional responsibilities included supporting over 1000 persons and installing company approved software as needed by the customer. Usually new products and upgrade releases of company created software.

I administered Windows NT Server logon accounts, network security, and Microsoft Mail accounts. Daily duties include scheduling service calls for hardware support and server support, and coordinated completion of hardware repairs by outside contractors. Additional responsibilities include maintaining backup control for 3 NT servers (Backup Exec v6.0 backup software), and maintaining dial-in capabilities for remote users.

Another daily responsibility was to provide desktop support for Windows for Work Groups 3.11; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Mail) and 3270 terminals, both stand-alone and through PC software emulation.

My duties included supporting over 500 people at 4 sites with software trouble shooting, installing new software, and maintaining account status.

I was part of the Telecommute Configuration team and install the remote access software on desktop and laptop computers using Windows for Work Groups v3.11. My daily duties include configuring the Networking module with IP Addresses and installing additional software as needed by the customer. This usually includes word processing, spreadsheet and presentation package software.

Additional responsibilities include training the customer on how to use the newly installed software so they can use remote access from home. Telephone support and system-troubleshooting PC's using software diagnostics and hardware repair.

My job was to drive the fuel truck and fuel small Aircraft at the Palo Alto Airport with AvGas 80/87 and 100LL. I also maintained the database for the auto fuel list of the aircraft we keep fueled.

It was my responsibility to get the heavy truck shipments ready for the trucks to pickup the shipments at a schedule time. Also in charge of coordinating three other persons with the merchandise pickups through out the Hewlett Packard site and prepare the shipment do go out that day.

I was also part of the customer service desk where I take care of customer problems, schedule customer merchandise pickups and take care of tracking customer packages.

I have experience with Federal Express computer system, UPS ground tract systems and most major truck companies Bill of Lading. Also with Hewlett Packards computerized "Ship System".

RelayNet International Message Exchange (RIME) is a World Wide Electronic Mail Exchange. In which 1200 Nodes participate in the exchange of Electronic messages (mail). Over 500 Channels (Conferences) of topics to participate in. I was a Beta tester for the new Postlink(TM) software that RIME is founded on.

The Chair Too! BBS - I was the Sysop (Systems Operator) of this Electronic Bulletin Board System (BBS), I specialized in being the Northern California Mail Hub for the RIME(TM) Network. In order to make this cost effective I used a USRobotics dual standard modem at 28.8 Baud.
